User authentication
When Login Name in Job Log is set to Yes, the login name or PIN code
specied in TerioStation or the printer driver is registered in the job log.
Job logs can be output as excel les using the WEB tool.
Registration of users managed with the job logs is performed using the
WEB tool or the panel. A login name or a PIN code is registered for each
user.
The login names and PIN codes assigned to all users can be congured
and printed using TerioStation or the printer driver.
When Project Name Management is set to Common to All Users, the
project name is not registered for each user but can be set in common
for all users using the WEB tool.
* A project name cannot be registered in common for all users from
the operation panel.
Up to 100 project names can be registered.
When you do not know if upper case or lower case characters are used
for the print authentication login names on the connected computers,
set Print Authentication Login Name to Case Insensitive.

Press OK.
After this setting is completed, only authorized
users can operate the Printer in the specied
modes requiring user authentication.
If the user authentication setting is changed, the
Printer restarts when leaving the menu mode.
For IC card authentication, you are required to:
- Set IC card authentication; and
- Specify information location.
