User authentication

Authenticating from a Web Browser
When you are performing printer administration or user authentication, to access
the Printer from a Web browser press Login at the top of the Web browser window
before using a function.
The authentication screen appears. Enter a login name and password.
(For PIN code authentication, enter the PIN code in the login name eld. Leave the
password eld blank.)
After user authentication, the Web function job screen (copy jobs, submission jobs,
scan jobs, print jobs, submission box, and PDtF box) appears.
On the job screen, only the jobs of authenticated users are displayed.
After logging in, the user can operate the Printer under the specied restrictions.
To logout, click Log Out at the top of the Web browser window.
