ascii Sets the le transfer type to ASCII. —
binary
Sets the le transfer type to binary. Be sure to set this
binary command when transferring les.

bye Ends the execution of the ftp command. —
cd Changes the working directory. —
Supported in
anonymous ftp.
cdup Moves the working directory to the parent directory. —
close
Cancels the connection with the Printer, and displays the
ftp prompt.

delete (le name)
Deletes unprocessed les already transferred to the
Printer.

mdelete (le n)
Deletes multiple unprocessed les already transferred to
the Printer.

Deletes spooled le information already transferred to

get Copies 1 le from the Printer to the local host. —

mget Copies multiple les from the Printer to the local host. —
mode (mode name) Sets the le transfer mode. stream
open (remote device)
Connects with the Printer. After executing the open
command, enter the user name and password.

put (le name) Copies 1 le from the computer to the Printer. —

anonymous ftp.
mput (le name)
Copies 1 le or multiple les from the computer to the
Printer.

pwd
Displays the path name of the current directory. The
directory path is always /.

quit Ends the execution of the ftp command. —
recv Copies 1 le from the Printer to the local host. —
Supported in
anonymous ftp.
remotehelp (internal
command)
Displays the help information for internal commands
supported by the Printer's ftp server on the screen. (When
internal commands are omitted, displays the internal
command list.)

send (le name) Copies 1 le from the computer to the Printer. —

anonymous ftp.
struct (struct name) Sets the le transfer structure. le
sunique
If a le with the same name as the transferred le already
exists, it is stored in the Printer's spool with a dierent
name.

Logs in to the Printer's ftp server. After executing the user
command, enter the user name and password.
