The CS1W-CN118 Cable is used with an RS-232C 
cable to connect to the peripheral port on the CPU Unit 
as shown below. The CS1W-CN118 Cable cannot be 
used with an RS-232C cable whose model number 
ends in -V for a peripheral bus connection and must be 
used for a Host Link (SYSMAC WAY) connection.

The XW2Z-200S-CV and XW2Z-500S-CV use static-
resistant connectors and can be connected to the 
peripheral bus or the Host Link. The XW2Z-200S-V 
and XW2Z-500S-V, however, can only be connected 
to the Host Link, not the peripheral bus.
