Safety Output Terminals
First, drag and drop the external devices to connect to the Safety Output ter-
minals.
Safety Input Terminals
Next, drag and drop the external devices to connect to the Safety Input termi-
nals.
Note (1) For an I/O comment, you can use up to 48 single-byte characters, except
for the following characters: \ / : * ? “ < > | % #.
(2) If an Ethernet Communications Option Board is used, TCP/IP settings,
such as the IP address, must be made in the system settings. In that
case, T3 cannot be used as the test pulse output terminal.
Drag and drop 2 Safety Relays with
welding check. At the same time,
you can also set the Safety Input
terminal to use to input feedback.
I/O device settings are
displayed.
I/O comments are edited. In this
example, the comments are entered
to enable differentiating between
KM1 and KM2 in the program.
Drag and drop Emergency Stop
Switch (2NC) and Reset Switch.
An ON/OFF delay for the input filter can be set by
clicking the Advance Edit Button. A delay of up to
1,000 ms can be set.
I/O comments are edited. In this
example, the comments are entered
to enable differentiating between S1,
S2, and KM1_KM2 in the program.
Select the Test Output terminal to
connect to the Safety Input terminal.
In this example, the test sources for
Si2 and Si3 are set for different
terminals than for Si0 and Si1 so that
short-circuits between the terminals
can be detected.
