NX-series EtherNet/IP Coupler Unit User’s Manual (W536)
3 Target node IDs are assigned to devices registered in the Register Device List.
This target node ID determines the location in the originator node PLC of the Target Node PLC
Operating Flag, Target Node PLC Error Flag, Registered Target Node Flag, and Normal Target
Node Flag. By default, the target ID is automatically set to the rightmost 8 bits of the IP address.
In the example above, the target device’s IP address is 192.168.250.1, so the device number is
#1. If a target node ID is duplicated and you want to change the device number, click the
Change Target Node ID button and change the target ID.
Editing Settings for Individual Connections
You can edit each connection separately.
1 Click the Connections Tab and then click the New button. The following Edit Connection Dialog
Box is displayed according to the type of device that is selected.
