5. Operation
NOTE:
It is assumed that the Installation has finished successfully. If not, first do the
installation steps in the previous section.
5.1. URCap Commands
URCap commands provide an easy way to program an application.
5.1.1. Eyes
5.1.1.1. Eyes General Overview
OnRobot Eyes supports the following applications:
Part Location - This application can be used to locate workpieces laid out on a
flat
surface, providing information about the workpieces' position and the workpieces' type.
Inspection - This application can be used to inspect the outer contour and color of
workpieces laid out on a flat surface. The workpieces' quality and position are provided to
the robotic application. Additionally, OnRobot WebLogic can be used to operate the Eyes
Inspection, see User Manual for Using WebLogic.
Landmark - This application can be used to create applications where the robot and part
of its workspace are not fixed to each other. The Eyes detect the provided landmark
object to recalibrate the robot with its workspace.
It does not require configuration and can be used directly in the robot program.
Configure the Part Location and Inspection applications as follows:
Part Location - To setup the camera view,
define what type of workpieces the Eyes will
detect. Configure the Eyes Locate URCap command.
Eyes Inspect - To setup the camera view,
define what type of workpieces the Eyes will
inspect.
Configure the Eyes Inspect URCap command.
To operate the system in any of the supported applications, run the Eyes application from the
robot.

6.1.3.1. Eyes Backup section.
5.1.1.2. Eyes Locate
Configure the Eyes Part Location Application
I. Select an Existing Eyes Task
Under Task, select an already existing Eyes task from the drop-down list.
If you want to edit the Eyes task, press . To delete an Eyes task, press .
