Sump
To remove and to fit Operation 10-3

Warning! Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact
the skin.
1 Drain the oil from the sump (A2).
Note: Some engines may be fitted with a sound suppression panel. Remove the washers and bolts, and
remove the sound suppression panel.
2 Loosen the bolts which retain the sump on the engine. Do not remove the bolts fully, allow them to be
retained by the seal (A1).
3 Remove the sump.
