Perodua Service Centre.
5 - 7 notches
1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Shift the manual transmission lever in
neutral, or the automatic transmission
lever in P.
3. Firmly depress the brake pedal.
4. Fully release the parking brake.
5. Pull the parking brake lever up slowly, and
count the notches with a force of 196 N
(44 lb, 20 kgf).
6. Check that the number of notch is within
the specification (5 - 7 notches).
