You can perform several functions to keep your G7500 system running properly.
Activating System Features
The G7500 system uses keys to identify the features and software updates you ordered.
Obtain a Feature Activation or Software Version Key
To activate features or update software, you must obtain a key that’s valid only with your system. If you
don’t have a support agreement, contact an authorized Polycom dealer to get a key.
A key is a number that unlocks certain features or gives you the ability to update your G7500 system.
You can obtain one of the following key types:
▪ Feature activation key makes new system features available and is valid for all software releases.
Note: Software version 2.0 enables all available G7500 system features by default. With this
version, you don’t need to enter a feature activation key.
▪ Software version key is valid for the update you want to install and any future feature,
maintenance, or patch releases.
Procedure
1. Go to Licensing & Product Registration > Activation/Upgrade at Polycom Support.
2. Select the product name in the prompted list.
3. Do one of the following:
▪ Log in with your email address and password.
▪ Register as a new user.
