Daily Task Description
At least once every day, examine
the machine for loose, worn, or
damaged parts
Verify the machine for the following possible issues:
l Loose fasteners and/or parts.
l Unusual noises
l Worn or frayed power cords.
l Worn, damaged, missing safety lanyards or
clips.
l Any other indication that the equipment may
be in need of service.
Important: If you determine that the equipment
needs service, disconnect all power connections
(television, Ethernet, and power) and move the
equipment away from the exercise area. Place an
"OUT OF SERVICE" sign on the equipment and
make it clear to all patrons and other users that they
must not use it.
Clean the running belt top sur-
face.
Clean the top surface of the running belt with a soft
dry or damp cloth using an approved cleaner.
Clean the running belt and deck. Clean the running belt and deck, see Running Belt
and Deck Cleaning Procedure,
inspect the running belt operation
and condition.
Inspect the running belt for the following possible
issues:
l Belt slipping
l Frayed or worn condition
l Belt alignment and tracking is centered on the
deck and rollers
Weekly Maintenance
Perform the following maintenance tasks every week.
WARNING:Remove power when performing tasks that require reaching under
raised decks or crossramps. Raised decks/crossramps can unexpected lower caus-
ing harm and personal injury to extremities.
