Weekly Task Description
PowerOFF
. Raise the Incline to maximum level and then switch the
input power OFF and unplug

the power cord:
Perform the following tasks with the power switch OFF,
and power cord disconnectged:
Verify that the power cord is
not damaged
.
Verify that the power cord is not damaged, pinched,
coiled, or positioned under the machine
.
Vacuum and clean floor area
underneath equipment
.
Vacuum and use damp mop to clean floor area under-
neath equipment. Make sure the floor is completely dry
when finished
PowerON. Restore power to the machine. Connect the power cord
and switch power ON for the remaining tasks. For Incline
models, reset incline level to 0%.
Verify unit sits level and solid
on floor
Use a bubble level placed on running belt to verify level.
All feet should be touching the floor and the unit should
not rock or wobble when in use.
Verify console and machine
operation including the Heart
Rate feature:
Perform the
Operation Verification
procedure to verify
console and machine operation, see "Operation Veri-
fication Tests." on page15.
Note:
Perform task with power removed and incline set to maximum level.
Monthly Maintenance
Perform the Daily and Weekly task in addition to the following monthly maintenance tasks.
WARNING:DANGER USE EXTREME CAUTION when the rear cover of any
TRM is removed. Serious injury could result if fingers are pinched between the fly-
wheel spokes, cranks, movable arms, and the drive weldment. Securing the mov-
able arm to the crank with a clamp is recommended. Be aware of other people
within your work area who might cause the arm to move.
Monthly Task Instruction
Do the Daily and Weekly
maintenance tasks
Do the Daily and Weekly maintenance tasks in addition to
the following monthly maintenance tasks.
Verify the Safety clip is
attached to the lanyard
and functional.
Pull on the lanyard attached to the Safety clip which trips the
Restart (Stop/Restart) switch. The "PUSH TO RESET
SWITCH" message is shown and an arrow pointing to the
Restart switch. treadmill slows and stops.
Visually inspect the run-
ning belt and deck con-
dition.
Make sure the deck and belt are in good condition, replace
as necessary.
Clean Drive Motor and pul-
leys

Remove hood and use wire brush to clean belt and pulley
grooves.

Disconnect a device power cord plug or cable connector from the power receptacle or outlet.
