MFT Sample pipettor error. This is a non-fatal error. The affected
samples are marked Invalid.
ML Magnetic Wash error. Individual Magnetic Wash level sense
errors are non-fatal. The affected
samples are marked Invalid.
MT Magnetic Wash tiplet error or Magnetic
Wash Station fails to move to aspiration.
This error is non-fatal. All samples in the
affected MTU are marked invalid.
This error does not count towards the
10% invalid criterion (see the appropriate
package insert for more information).
Note: Tiplet Strip Errors are fatal. No
samples are flagged because the MTU
has already left the station when the
strip occurs.
NTA The sample had not made it through the
luminometer when an operator clicked
Stop All.
The affected samples are marked Invalid.
This error does not count towards the
10% invalid criterion.
NTI A fatal error occurred during assay
processing.
Note: This flag is not applied when
sample pipetting is aborted, but assay
processing continues.
All samples that have not been
processed in the luminometer, including
samples that have not yet been pipetted,
are marked Invalid.
This error does not count towards the
10% invalid criterion.
PFS A pump failure occurred during sample
pipetting.
This is a non-fatal error. The affected
samples are marked Invalid.
PFT A pump failure occurred during wTCR
pipetting.
This is a non-fatal error. The affected
samples are marked Invalid.
QNS The sample tube had insufficient volume. This is a non-fatal error. The affected
samples are marked Invalid.
This error does not count towards the
10% invalid criterion.
RAF Pipettor error.
The system failed to position the reagent
cooler in the AR Carousel before
aspirating (this is a fatal error).
This is a non-fatal error, except as noted.
If the error is due to wTCR volume
sensing, then all samples in MTU are
marked Invalid. Otherwise, only the
affected samples are marked Invalid. A
sample may have more than one RAF
flag if more than one type of pipettor error
occurs.
RDA RDV error. This is a non-fatal error. The affected
samples are marked Invalid.
RDH RDV error. This is a non-fatal error. The affected
samples are marked Invalid.
