RDR RDV error. This is a non-fatal error. All samples in
the affected MTU are marked invalid.
Note: All other reagent pipettor rinse
errors are fatal. The appropriate fatal
error message will appear on the
worklist status line of the report, but no
samples are flagged RDR.
RT The barcode is the same as a sample
that has already been tested.
The sample is not marked Invalid.
S The barcode was manually scanned in
using the handheld scanner.
The sample is not marked Invalid.
SID “Fix Unreadable Barcodes before
Processing” was not enabled and a
carousel worklist had an unreadable
barcode. The system assigned a default
sample ID.
The sample is not marked Invalid.
SPA Tip error. Sample pipetting is suspended. MTUs
that completed sample pipetting and
were removed from the Load Station
continue processing; results are
generated for these samples. Samples
that had not finished pipetting are flagged
as CAN.
This error does not count towards the
10% invalid criterion.
ST Failure to pick a tip. The affected samples are marked Invalid.
This error does not count towards the
10% invalid criterion.
TAM The Amplification Incubator temperature
was out of range.
This is a non-fatal error. All samples in
the affected MTU are marked invalid.
TAN The Anneal Incubator temperature was
out of range.
This is a non-fatal error. All samples in
the affected MTU are marked invalid.
TAT The Transition Incubator temperature
was out of range.
This is a non-fatal error. All samples in
the affected MTU are marked invalid.
TC A Chiller ramp temperature was out of
range.
This is a non-fatal error. All samples in
the affected MTU are marked invalid.
TD The ambient temperature in the
luminometer area was out of range.
Any MTU introduced to the luminometer
while the detect thermometer is too hot
will have its samples marked Invalid. All
samples in the MTU are flagged "TD,"
indicating that the temperature was out of
range.
TE The ambient temperature in the
electronics cage was out of range.
A fatal error is raised and all samples of
all MTUs being processed are flagged
“TE” and marked Invalid.
TH The HPA Incubator temperature was out
of range.
This is a non-fatal error. All samples in
the affected MTU are marked invalid.
