12.3.3 Replacing the gasket
View of brew group from below
1. Unscrew the countersunk head screw in the center
of the shower plate using an Allen key.
2. Remove the shower plate and shower holder.
3. Remove the shower plate gasket.
4. Lever the group gasket out with the at-head
screwdriver.
¾ This destroys the group seal.
5. Clean the groove in the shower holder using the
cleaning brush.
6. Insert a new group gasket in the cleaned groove.
When doing so, orient the gasket so that the
chamfered side is facing up.
7. Press the gasket into the groove.
8. Install the shower plate gasket.
9. Screw on the shower holder and shower screen
using the countersunk head screw.
10. Place the portalter without lter against the
shower screen and slowly tighten. With the other
hand, apply counter-pressure to the brew group
from above.
9 The brew group is ready to use again.
