8 Initial start-up
When using the machine for the rst time, make sure that:
• the machine has been correctly installed (see Chapter 7, “Installation”),
• the mains plug is disconnected from the power supply,
• the drip tray has been inserted correctly (see Chapter 1, “About these
operating instructions”), and
• the steam and hot water tilt valves are closed (see Chapter 5.2.4,
“Operating levers”).
