3 Quick guide to your rst espresso
When preparing an espresso, please adhere to all safety instructions and
warnings contained in these operating instructions. Before preparing
your rst espresso, the machine must have been installed (see Chapter 7,
“Installation”) and started up (see Chapter 8, “Initial start-up”) correctly.
1. Switch on the machine using the on/off button.
¾ The LED ring will light up and the brew boiler will
start to heat up.
2. Wait until the brew temperature has been reached.
3. Fill the desired portalter with ground coffee.
4. Position the portalter at an angle of approx. 45°
below the brew group.
5. Push the portalter into the holder of the brew
group until the wings on the portalter engage in
the recesses on the brew group.
6. Carefully turn the portalter handle to the right until
you feel some resistance.
¾ The portalter is now installed in the brew group.
7. Press one of the pull buttons.
¾ The LED of the pull button that was pressed will
start to ash and the espresso pulling process will
begin.
8. Wait until this process has automatically ended
after the preset period or press the pull button
again to manually end the process once you have
got the desired amount of coffee.
9 The button LED lights up continuously and residual
water will be drained and residual pressure released
via the residual water outlet of the brew group.
