The maximum delivery pressure must not exceed that specified on
the rating plate or in the technical data.
The machine is filled via the hopper.
All protective covering elements of the machine must be fitted during
operation. The machine must be operated only with the safety equip‐
ment fitted.
Specified inspection work must be carried out at regular intervals.
Any work on the electrical system of the machine must be carried out
by trained and qualified electricians only.
Conversions, alterations or modifications to the machine must not be
carried out without permission from the manufacturer.
The operational safety of the machine must be inspected by a subject
expert at least once a year. The operator is responsible for commis‐
sioning the inspection.
2.4 Improper use
Use is defined as contrary to the designated use if it is not described
in or goes beyond that described in the “Designated use” section. The
manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from such use.
The risk lies solely with the machine operator.
2.4.1 Operation with defects
The machine must not be operated with defects. A few examples are
listed below:
Loose or damaged bolts
Leaks
Impermissible fill levels
Wrong functional fluids
Worn, damaged or defective components
Worn, damaged or illegible plates
Worn, damaged or defective safety equipment
Deactivated or modified safety equipment
Impermissible or modified connections or fuses
Safety regulations
