5.1 Setting up the machine for initial commissioning
To save space when transporting the machine, the auger pump is not
mounted for delivery from the works. After unpacking the machine,
you must mount the auger pump for initial commissioning.
5.1.1 Mounting the auger pump
The screw conveyor must first be mounted in the screw conveyor bar‐
rel.
NOTICE
Damage to the screw conveyor if the rubber of the screw conveyor
comes into contact with used oil.

Use only silicone spray from the manufacturer for assembly.

1. Clamp the screw conveyor barrel in a vice.
2. Screw the screw conveyor into the clamped screw conveyor bar‐
rel by turning it clockwise. Adjust the end face of the screw con‐
veyor and the screw conveyor barrel so that they are flush.
