New Format - General Tab
The Format Editor General tab is shown below. The table that follows describes each of
the fields in the tab.
PreEmphasis Enables and disables adding pre-emphasis to the Open
LVDI digital outputs on generators that support LVDI
outputs.
DC Balance Not used
Flat Front Porch Determines if composite sync will have all equalization
pulses removed in the vertical sync front porch (delay)
period as required by certain military HOBO and
Maverik video formats. Parameter: EQUF.
Tri-Level Sync Enables or disables Tri-Level sync. Parameter: TSPG
Repeat Field Determines if identical video information is output for
each field of an interlaced (SCAN = 2) format.
Parameter: RFLD.
