3 Remove domed nut, complete

coach
washer and
insulating washer and
withdraw
coach
bolt
from both hinges.
4 Remove support rod and
carefully remove
rear
window
glass. Retain hinge gasket.

window
handle is secured
to
the glass
by the lock retaining nut.

UNF domed nuts, lockwashers and a
backing
plate secure the hinges
to
the body.

Replace components in reverse order

1 Unscrew retaining stud, complete
with
waved washer and coachwasher, and
withdraw
support rod from catch plate.
2 The support rod catch plate and retainer
bracket can be removed
by
drilling the heads
off
the retaining rivets
with
a 5·56mm U
2
in)
dia. drill and then tapping
out
the rivet shafts.

Replace catch plate and retainer bracket
with
4·76 x 8·89mm (0·181 x 0·35in) rivets.
4 Refit support rod
in
reverse order.
