15. Pull back the tab [1] between the frame and right vertical support to release the
maintenance unit motor harness.
16. Disconnect the motor harness [2] (x1).
3.7.4 REAR FAN
Remove platen or ADF. ( 3.2.4, 3.2.5)
Raise the scanner unit to full upright. ( 3.2.7)
Remove: (1) paper cassette, (2) paper output tray, (3) right cover, (4) left cover, (5)
scanner unit, (6) rear cover ( 3.2.8, 3.2.10, 3.2.12, 3.2.14, 3.2.15)
17. Disconnect the fan harness [1] (= x2, x1).
18. Remove screws [2], [3] (x2).
19. Remove the cooling fan.
