How to Cut Off Media
Procedure
➊
Open the front cover.
Detach the media clamps.

Close the front cover.
➌
Make sure lights up.
➍
Hold down for one second or longer.
Cut-off Operations
Before you perform cutoff, be sure to detach the media clamps.
Performing cutoff with the media clamps remaining attached may cause the operation to be interrupted due to detec-
tion of the media clamps.
When you're performing cutoff, never use to pull the media back.
Unless the end of the media has been pulled out to a location to the front of the platen, cutoff may not be
performed smoothly.
