► Push the plug-in mains adapter into a socket. Once the external repeater is
supplied with power, the green LED will light up.
13.2.2 Assign the external repeater to a wireless room thermostat
Within a radio room operating network, an external repeater has to be as-
signed to only one wireless room thermostat. The other wireless room ther-
mostats are usually recognised automatically by the external repeater. If a
wireless room thermostat has a radio connection to the wireless connection
module via an external repeater, the room thermostat always radios via the
external repeater, even if the wireless room thermostat would reach the wire-
less connection module without the external repeater.
Once an external repeater is no longer in operation, e.g. from interruption of
the voltage supply, the associated wireless room thermostats automatically try
to establish a radio connection to the wireless connection module after
30 minutes. The display shows Err1. If the direct radio connection to the
wireless connection module can be created, the external repeater addressing
is deleted. If the radio connection is to be via the external repeater again, you
need to assign the external repeater to a wireless room thermostat again.

Assign an
external repeater
The wireless room thermostat is already installed at the final site.
The repeater is installed and supplied with power. The green LED lights up at
the external repeater.
The display of the wireless room thermostat shows the symbols "– – – –".
Since the distance to the wireless connection module is too far, the wireless
room thermostat cannot be assigned to the wireless connection module. The
wireless room thermostat is to be assigned to the radio channel CH 1.
► Press the push button CH 1 at the wireless connection module. The corre-
sponding LED CH 1 blinks.
► Press the push button at the external repeater for 5 seconds. The green
LED at the external repeater blinks.
