40 Programming SATEL
The connection can be established in one of the following methods:
1. Initiating connection from the DLOADX program. The control panel can be programmed
from any location. If communication takes place in a wide area network, the control panel
must have a public IP address.
2. Initiating connection from the keypad (by the control panel). The control panel can be
programmed only from specified location. This method is recommended when the alarm
system owner does not want the remote programming to be carried out without its
knowledge. If communication takes place in a wide area network, the computer with
DLOADX program must have a public IP address.
3. Initiating connection by SMS message. The computer with DLOADX program must have
a public IP address. The INT-GSM / INT-GSM LTE module must be connected to the
ETHM-1 Plus module.
4. Establishing connection via the SATEL server. The control panel can be programmed
from any location. No public IP address is required for the control panel or the computer
with DLOADX program..
Required settings of the control panel for all methods of establishing connection:
• EXTERNAL MODEM, MODEM ISDN/GSM/ETHM and ANSWERING – ETHM/GSM options
enabled.
Required settings of the ETHM-1 Plus / ETHM-1 module for all methods of establishing
connection:
• COMMUNICATION WITH DLOADX option enabled,
• data encryption key (DLOADX KEY) programmed,
• network settings configured.
Initiating connection from the DLOADX program
Required settings of the ETHM-1 Plus / ETHM-1 module:
• programmed number of TCP port used for communication.
Required settings of the DLOADX program for direct communication with the module:
• programmed: Ethernet module address (SERVER), number of TCP port used for
communication and data encryption key (DLOADX KEY) or selected set of parameters
“LAN: ETHM-1, Address n” (settings of the ETHM-1 Plus / ETHM-1 module with address
“n” will be used).
Before initiating the connection, make sure that the suitable connection establishing
method is selected in the “Connection settings” window, “Connection” field.
1. Click on the button in the DLOADX program.
2. A drop-down menu will be displayed. Click in turn on “TCP/IP: DLOADX -> ETHM” and
“LAN/WAN” (WAN connection) or “LAN” (LAN connection).
3. A window will open. Click on the “Connection” button in the window.
4. The DLOADX program will inform you about establishing connection by means of
a suitable message.
Initiating connection from the keypad
If the INT-GSM / INT-GSM LTE module is connected to the ETHM-1 Plus module and
connection over Ethernet cannot be established, an attempt will be made to establish
connection via the cellular data network.
