Telephone function is also related to media streaming via Bluetooth.
You can only connect Bluetooth mobile telephones to the infotainment
system when a hands-free device is installed in the vehicle.
You can use your mobile telephone through the infotainment system. For this, the
mobile telephone must be connected via Bluetooth to the infotainment system.
If the Bluetooth connection is established between the infotainment system and the
telephone, you can make calls using the microphone and the loudspeaker in the
vehicle.
Some of the telephone features may not be supported. The supported
functions depend on the telephone and the service provider. For more
information about supported functions, see the operating manual of your
mobile telephone.
You should be familiar with the safety regulations and the instructions for
your telephone before you use the telephone function.
The use of hands-free calling while driving can be dangerous because your
attention is reduced during a telephone call. Park your vehicle before you
use the hands-free function.
Follow the guidelines in areas where interference or other hazards can
occur due to the mobile telephone.
