6.12.3 When Adjusting Using Semi Auto Mode [LM ADJ] (V1.06 and later)
In former type mirror adjustment (LM PULSE), the screen had to be changed repeatedly.
In the semi auto mode (LM ADJ), it can do without changing a screen.
Please use this mode, when you cannot do well in the completeness automatic mode [LM AUTO
ADJ].
Procedure
(1) Set Ex and Em as 0nm (0th light). A PTFE block cell is attached.
(2) Input 0 into "Xe Hg TEST" and switch off Xe lamp. Then, 2 is inputted and Hg lamp is
made to turn on.It waits after that for 2 minutes (lamp aging).
(3) Input 60000 (about 915 V) into "PMT TEST."
(4) If 0 A key is pushed by "LM ADJ", the position of a mirror will be moved to a home
position.Then, 3 keys (+10), 6 keys (+1), etc. are pushed, and a mirror position is made
into 26 pulses.
(5) Push 3 keys (+10), 6 keys (+1), 1 key (-10), 4 keys (-1), etc., and move a mirror position to
35.At this time, the value (pulse value) of the biggest sample energy (S) is inputted into
"LM IMPUT."
(6) Remove a PTFE block cell.
