6.12 Adjusting the Internal Mercury Lamp Reflection Mirror (RF-20AXS only)
From V1.06, the completeness automatic mode (LM AUTO ADJ) and the semi auto mode (LM
ADJ) are added.
Please look at the following page, if attached to procedure.
6.12.1 When Adjusting Using the Conventional "LM PULSE" (V1.05 and earlier)
(1) Make sure that the EX and EM are in the 0-order light state and that the PTFE block cell (jig)
is attached at the cell position.
(2) Enter "0" at "Xe Hg TEST" to turn the Xenon light OFF, and then enter "2" to turn the
Mercury lamp ON.
(3) Enter "60000" at "PMT TEST".
(4) Enter "0" at "LM PULSE" to move the motor to its home position and then enter "29".
(5) Make a note of the SMPL value at "MONITOR".
(6) Fine-adjust "LM PULSE", compare the SMPL values at "MONITOR" before and after 29, and
enter the value of "LM PULSE" having the highest peak at "LM INPUT".
When there are continuous similar SMPL values,
select the center.
When the point next to the peak value is
excessively low, select the next one on the opposite
side.
