1 Introduction
1.1 Outline
This service manual describes the work to be performed by service personnel. Repairs must
be performed by Shimadzu service personnel. Work performed by the customer himself voids
the product Warranty. Though this service manual contains some items that are also
mentioned in the Instruction Manual, it does not contain references to installation and
operations. So, perform appropriate maintenance while also referring to the Instruction
Manual as required.
Strictly follow the safety precautions and pay special attention to prevent accidents.
Note
Parts and circuits mentioned in the text of this service manual may differ in part with the
actual instrument in the interest of product improvement. All parts referred to in
exploded views and parts lists are not treated as repair parts.
