Once the encoder has been assigned an IP address in BootP, BootP starts to
respond and sends the corresponding IP address to the encoder (via its MAC
address).
This typically takes up to 30 seconds.

As soon as the encoder has correctly received the assigned IP address, the status
message at Errors and warnings changes accordingly.
