Orienting the sensor
The sensor operates in any orientation. The optimal orientation depends on the process fluid
and the process conditions. Siemens recommends orienting the sensor in one of the following
ways:
MASS 2100 DI 1.0, DI 1.5 and DI 2.1
Liquid applications
Horizontal installation, correct
Horizontal installation, correct
Vertical installation, correct (liquids without solid
particles only)
Vertical installation, wrong
