6.11.29 Energy meter
The fan speed and a linear approximation of the current burner output are used to
calculate the approximate quantity of gas energy consumed. This is then made
available on six energy meters.
The linear approximation function for determining the burner output can be configured
via the following additional parameters:
the slope of the linear equation Fan output/speed slope (9626) and the y-intercept of
the linear equation Fan output/speed Y-section (9627).
The gas energy metering function can be activated/deactivated via the Gas energy
metering (2550) parameter.

The Gas energy metering readj (2551) parameter allows experts to apply a factor in
order to adjust the current burner output that was calculated using the linear
approximation function.
If a value of 1.000 is applied, there is no change in the result recorded by the
approximation function.
Applying a lower value decreases the gas energy metering result while a higher value
increases it.

The energy meters are divided into two groups for end users and also a higher
operating level.
Within each group, the quantities of gas energy consumed are recorded separately for
heating and domestic hot water (DHW) respectively, and the total gas energy is
calculated as the sum of the heating and DHW gas energy consumed.
End users can reset the heating and DHW meters individually (heating gas energy and
DHW gas energy).
Higher operating levels are also authorized to individually set/reset the meters for
recording the total heating and DHW gas energy consumed (total heating gas energy
and total DHW gas energy).
