Jaws A - E
READING / DECODING [SSN110]
1) Remove the mobile unit B from the
S100 clamp.
2) Fit the E11 mobile adapter on the S100
clamp.
3) Fit the jaw E (with the letter facing the
operator) into the E11 adapter.
4) Open the fixed clamp (A) and mobile
clamp (E) by pressing on the gripper
lever.
5) Place the key into its seat and take the
bit up against the fixed clamp (A).

ATTENTION: position the key so that the first tooth is facing to the left, ensuring contact with the stop (0) on the
vertical face of the tooth (fig. 62).
6) Release the gripper lever.
ATTENTION: the rear stop must butt against the face of jaw E (fig. 62).
7) On starting the reading operation the carriage will take the key into contact with the laser beam along the path dictated
by the software.
8) In the case of female keys, use one of the standard centring devices (according to stem diameter) on the S100-A
clamp (see ch.5.14 "SPECIAL BIT FEMALE KEYS", page 57).
Jaws A - F
READING
1) Remove the mobile unit B from the S100
clamp.
2) Fit the E11 mobile adapter on the S100
clamp.
3) Fit the jaw F (with the letter towards the
operator) on the E11 adapter.
4) Open the fixed clamp (A) and mobile
clamp (F) by pressing on the gripper
lever.
5) Fit the key into its seat and take the bit up
against the fixed clamp (A).
