12.6 Appendix F – Useful Pseudo Points and Lists
The following tables list System Digital Pseudo points, System Analog Pseudo points and
System Lists that are useful when working on a 4100ES-S1 panel, especially when chasing
intermittent faults.
System Digital Pseudo Points
You must be logged in at Level 3 to force system pseudo points on or off
SET SERVICE PSEUDO VALUES
When manually activated, this pseudo point changes the values of various “service
pseudos”. When activated the system will: enable global acknowledge, disable
keypad inactivity timer, reduce system reset timer, disable alarm silence inhibit,
disable system trouble reminder, disable alarm verification, reduce monitor zone
enable timer.
See Custom Control Equation 0-122
ANALOG SENSOR ALMOST DIRTY LOG ENABLE
Activating this point lowers the dirty threshold by 10 analog units. This allows any
analog sensors that are approaching the dirty threshold to report as dirty to the
historical trouble log. (Note: For Field Service use.)
This can be used to suppress the operation of the panel sounder when this pseudo
point is forced ON.
When panel is rebooted, all RAM memory contents are cleared.
Clear Alarm Verification Tallies (Trouble)
When activated, this point clears all alarm verification tallies in the local panel.
The Alarm Verification Tally Limit Exceeded trouble point is cleared by this
point.
This pseudo point is turned on when the user enables earth fault latching from the
diagnostic menu. This pseudo point should not be directly controlled by Custom
Control equations
DISABLE IDNET DETECTOR TEST MAGNETS
This pseudo can be turned on to prevent accidentally triggering, or erroneous
triggering of smoke detectors via the magnetic switch in the detector.
IDNET DUPLICATE SEARCH ACTIVE
This trouble pseudo is ON when IDNet Duplicate Search is activated.
This trouble pseudo is ON when IDNet Weak Search is activated.
Inhibit Device Troubles while Disabled (V12.06)
If this point is on, device level troubles (e.g., head missing, no answer, wrong type)
are inhibited when the point is disabled. If the pseudo is off, those troubles will report
even if a point is disabled.
Turned ON after reboot by CC Equation 3-7
This Inhibits the sounder on all remote annunciators including InfoAlarm Display when
the Pseudo is forced on.
RECURRING TROUBLE FILTERING ACTIVE
The master will activate this trouble point whenever the algorithm to filter recurring
runaway device troubles has been activated.
This is set on the Systems Option Page in the ES Programmer (default is 0).
