The Front Panel provides eight membrane switches and six LEDs. The LEDs
present information about what is going on within the network and the
membrane switches present a means for responding to events that occur within
the network. Figure 2-1 shows the membrane switches and LEDs.

Fire Alarm ACK Brings up the Fire
Alarm Active List at
any time and
acknowledges
incoming events. For
individual
acknowledge press the
switch once for each
point. For global
acknowledge press the
switch once and all
events are
acknowledged.
Fire Alarm
LED
Flashes when
unacknowledged events
occur. On steadily when
all fire alarms have
been acknowledged.
Off when all fire alarm
points are normal.
