bit1=1: open the instantaneous power outage maintenance function, which will turn on the power down detection function by
default and block the Al01D alarm within P8-24 time.
When this function is opened, the motor can continue to power on (servo ON) according to the time set by P8-24, even if the
main circuit of the drive is in instantaneous power failure.
When the instantaneous interruption time is less than the P8-24 setting value, the motor will continue to power on, and the
motor is no longer powered on when the setting value is greater than the set value, and the drive will cause alarms such as Al01d
or Al00A.

Note
1: In vertical axis applications, do not recommend the use of this function, there may be the possibility of falling. (when
the DO terminal is set to the BK function, if open the function, control power to electricity Al005 alarm)
2: when opening this function, it is recommended to open the torque limit function when the main circuit voltage drops,
and set the appropriate value for P8-22.
3: servo control circuit power retention time is about 80ms. If the power supply of the control circuit can not continue
to supply power when the instantaneous power failure occurs, then the same processing is performed with the usual
power cut-off, and the setting of P8-24 is invalid.
P8-18 bit2: power down detection function (associated with Bit1)
bit2=0 and bit0=0: turn off the power down detection function, the main loop power failure is no longer detected.
When the vertical shaft is applied, be sure to turn on the power down test function. Otherwise, the main
circuit will not be switched off immediately and the holding brake will not be closed
bit2=1: turn on the power down test function.
If there is no instantaneous power outage at the same time, when the main circuit is switched off, the Al01D alarm will
happen immediately.
P8-18 bit3: position judgment relative command unit is switched to encoder unit
bit3=0: position judgment based on command units.
The command unit is a unit of 1 pulse input from the upper device (including the P9 group, multi segment position) as 1.
bit3=1: position judgment based on encoder units.
The encoder unit is a unit of 1 pulse fed from the motor encoder as 1. Encoder unit = command unit * electronic gear
ratio
For example, the factory status when using an adaptive 17bit encoder motor:
Since the electronic gear is smaller than the =131072/10000, the encoder unit = command unit * 131072/10000
Note
The setting of these four parameters is affected by this function: P1-18 position deviation following warning, P1-20
position deviation following alarm, P1-23 position approximity width, P1-24 positioning completed width, and d0-10
position deviation.
P8-18 bit4: speed command reverse (speed mode)
bit4=0: the motor rotates forward (forward is defined by P0-01) when the positive speed command is applied.
bit4=1: when the negative speed command is applied, the motor rotates forward (forward is defined by P0-01).

The duration of the instantaneous outage can vary depending on the output of the servo pack. The servo motor load is
large and the Al00A alarm occurs in the instantaneous power failure, then the function is invalid.
