Troubleshooting and Maintenance
11.2 Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required for the devices. The table of “Proposal of Maintenance”
below lists the operational maintenance for expressing the optimum device performance.
More frequent maintenance service is needed in the worse work environment. Please make
records of the maintenance.
WARNING!
Only qualified person can perform the maintenance for the system devices.
Only use the spare parts and accessories approved by SolaX for maintenance.
11.2.1 Maintenance routines
Inverter Maintenance

Safety check
Check the items mentioned in section 1
“Safety”
The safety check shall be performed by
manufacturer’s qualified person who
has adequate training, knowledge, and
practical experience.
Every 12 months
Fans
Check if the cooling fans on the rear of
the inverter are covered by dirt or there is
abnormal sound.
Clean the cooling fans with a soft dry
cloth or brush or replace it if necessary.
Every 6-12 months
Indicators
Check if the indicators of the inverter are
in normal state.
Check if the display of the inverter (if it has
screen) is normal.
Every 6 months
Input and
output cables
Cables are securely connected.
Cables are intact, and in particular, the
parts touching the metallic surface are
not scratched. Check whether the sealing
caps of idle DC input terminals fall off.
Check that the idle ports are locked by
waterproof caps.
Every 6 months
Grounding
reliability
Check whether the grounding terminal and
ground cable are securely connected and all
terminals and ports are properly sealed.
Every 6 months
