4-4 Receiving and Inspecting
Inspecting the Shipment
IPS-300 Power Supply/ThermoRack Chiller Packaging
The power supply, chiller, and rack are shipped in a second crate shown in Figure 4-4.

The power supply and chiller are shipped in their own cardboard boxes along with the
rack as shown in
Figure 4-5. In the figure, the power supply is in the box on the right,
the chiller is in the box under the rack on the left.

To inspect these boxes for damage, unlatch the six latches around the bottom of the crate
and remove the top.
If there is no apparent damage to the boxes and rack, replace the crate cover and wait
for the Spectra-Physics installation engineer who will install your system. If damage is
apparent, call your Spectra-Physics representative, then continue reading the sections
below.
