Warning Symbols
The following symbols are used throughout this manual to draw your attention to
situations or procedures that require extra attention. They warn of hazards to your
health, damage to equipment, sensitive procedures, and exceptional circumstances. All
messages are set apart by a thin line above and below the text as shown here.
Laser radiation is present.
Condition or action may present a hazard to personal safety.
Condition or action may present an electrical hazard to
personal safety.
Condition or action may cause damage to equipment.
Action may cause electrostatic discharge and cause damage
to equipment.
Condition or action may cause poor performance or
error.
Text describes exceptional circumstances or makes a special
reference.
