Aggressiveness of the tines
The aggressiveness of the tines is determined by the angle to the
direction of travel and the pressure on the ground.
Adjust the angle to the direction of travel:
1.
Undo the hexagon nut
on the expansion bush
.
2. Turn the turnbuckle in the desired direction.
3. Tighten the nut.
ð
The more the rotor weeder is angled to the direction of
travel, the more aggressive the tines work.
Lower the pressure on the ground.
1.
Loosen the shackle
.
2. Re-attach the shackle at a higher position.
ð
The tension of the tension spring
increases.
The rotor weeder exerts less pressure on the ground.
Increase the pressure on the ground.
1. Loosen the shackle.
2. Re-attach the shackle at a lower position.
ð
The tension of the tension spring is relieved.
The rotor weeder exerts more pressure on the ground.
