Preparatory tasks for maintenance
jacking up the equipment, secure it against
sliding or tipping with suitable means (wedges,
wooden blocks).
Jacking up the truck
The truck must be jacked up for various
services. Always be sure that:
• the load capacity of the jac
k is sufficient,
• the truck is only jacked up on level ground
and that it is secured against rolling and
lowering.
WARNING
When jacking up the truck, disconnect the battery
plug!

Jacking up on the frame
– Park the truck with the forks against a wall.
– Jack up the truck until the wheels are clear
of the ground.
– Secure the truck.
