5.3.3 INSTALLING THE USB SOFTWARE FOR YOUR MACINTOSH
Mac OS 8.5 to OS 9.2
1. Power off the cutter.
2. Connect one end of the USB cable to a USB port on the computer.
3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the
cutter.
WARNING
KEEP FINGERS AND OTHER BODY PARTS AWAY FROM THE CUTTING
AREA. THERE ARE HAZARDOUS MOVING PARTS.
4. Power on the cutter (see section 2.3.4.) and return to the computer.
5. Insert the S Class CD into the computer’s CD-ROM drive.
6. Click on the “USB install driver” ICON on the CD-ROM.
7. This will automatically install the driver and the Summa Port Mapper utility.
8. Remove the CD from the CD-ROM drive.
9. Restart the computer.
Mac OSX
All recent cut software does not need a driver installation when a cutter is connected
to the cutter. The software that controls the driver is built in the cutting software.
