9.3.5 Replacing Hydraulic Oil and Filter Element
When using a hydraulic hammer breaker, hydraulic oil will
go bad quicker than daily excavation, so replace hydraulic
oil and element more frequently to avoid the damage of
hydraulic pump and other hydraulic components.
Recommended replacement interval is as below.
Replacement Interval hours
An excavator with hydraulic hammer breaker
An excavator with normal bucket
Filter element
Note:
(1)The replacement interval with is applied for the excavators on which the hammer breaker is used
continuously for a long time. For the excavators on which the hammer breaker is relatively less, the
replacement interval can be prolonged as following chart.
(2) The filter element should be replaced when the hammer breaker is operated continuously for more than 500 hours.
9.4 KEY POINTS FOR HYDRAULIC BREAKER
Consult your designated distributor to select a clamp breaker
with correct size and weight for the excavator.
Clamp breaker is much heavier than the bucket, thus, the
excavator should be operated slowly to avoid tipping. Following
notes should be observed.
(1) Don’t operate the clamp breaker when the bucket cylinder is fully extended or retracted to avoid the
damage of the excavator.
(2) Don’t rotate upper-carriage to one side of the excavator to operate the clamp breaker. To avoid
tipping, always crush in the front or rear of the machine.
