1.2.24 Prevention of Flying-Out Parts
Bear in mind that lubricating grease in track tension
device is under high pressure. Do not remove parts such
as oil cup or valve etc to avoid injury.
Moreover, keep face and body away from valve block
in case that part will fly out.
There is some pressure build up in travel redactor. Gear
oil temperature will increase after operation. Keep face
and body away from air bleeding plug.
With gear oil cooled, gradually loosen air bleeding plug
to release pressure.
1.2.25 Preventing Asbestos Dust Inhalation
Asbestos dust is known to cause pulmonary cancer.
When handling elements containing asbestos fibers, be
cautious not to inhale asbestos dust generating by those
elements.
To avoid dust, do not use pressurized air to clean
machine. Do not scrub or grind material containing
asbestos. Always wear approved respirator and use
recommended dust collector to remove asbestos during
maintenance. If you can not find them, wet asbestos
material with water or oil. Follow rules and regulations
at operational site. Observe relevant laws and
regulations in reference to asbestos disposal. Do not
allow other person to access working area.
1.2.26 Preventing Inhalation of Smoke or Exhaust Gas
If exhaust gas is inhaled, this can cause diseases and
even death.
If machine is operated at indoor, it’s necessary to open
door and windows to ventilate. Or you can also use
lengthened discharge pipe to discharge exhaust gas to
outside.
