Disconnect battery negative terminal and secure battery
cover. You can also remove the battery from the
machine, store it separately.
If the expected ambient temperature may below C
(32°F), mix coolant with anti-freezing liquid.
Select proper storage position The machine must be
kept at well-ventilated indoor place, if the machine has
to be stored outdoors, select level, firm ground and
cover the machine with a sheet.
2.2.2 During Storage
Note
When it's necessary to perform the rust-preventive
operation while the machine is at indoor, open the
doors and windows to ventilate and prevent gas
poisoning.
During storage, operate the machine to travel, swing and dig
for 2 to 3 cycles at least once a month so as to lubricate
machine, and charge the machine battery.
Before operating, check cooling water level and lubrication
status.
Air condition must run once a month.
2.2.3 After Storage
Note
Start engine only in well-ventilated condition.
Remove lubricating grease on piston rod surface.
Apply grease to all lubricating parts.
Check engine oil level, keep it in specified level, if not,
and refill engine oil. If some water is found to mix in
the oil, replace it.
Check fuel level and bleed the air.
Check its level to ensure that it is with the standard
range.
Start and run the engine at half speed for several
minutes before operation with full load.
Cycle all hydraulic function for several times.
