3. Attach the backplate into the mounting holes around the processor socket on the bottom
side of the motherboard.

4. Apply the proper amount of thermal grease on the processor.

5. Place the heatsink on top of the processor so that the four mounting holes on the
heatsink are aligned with those on the retention mechanism.
