Installing an M.2 Device with Heatsink (Optional)
It is strongly recommended that you install an M.2 heatsink provided by the M.2 device
supplier. If you are using a Supermicro M.2 heatsink, follow the steps below:

same as the graphics shown in the manual.
1. Remove the thermal pad protective films from the cover and the tray of the M.2 heatsink.

2. Place the M.2 device into the tray, then put the heatsink cover in place. Be careful to
align the tray holes with the cover holes.
