Removing the Processor Heatsink
Important: We do not recommend that the processor or heatsink be removed. However, if
you do need to remove the heatsink, follow the instructions below to remove the heatsink
and prevent damage done to the processor or other components.
1. Unplug the power cord from the power supply and the power connector from the cooler
and fan header.
2. Loosen the screws as shown below.
