12.1 ADJUSTING THE CABLE TENSION
CAUTION: Check the state of deformation of cables: if the cable undergoes a length-
ening, replace it.
In detail, you must execute the following check:
Execute an exercise;
If the cable is loose and then the weight stack doesn’t lift up according to your movement,
regulate the tension of the cable (WARNING: YOU MUST NOT CUT THE CABLE), acting
as detailded in “11.1.1 Adjusting the tension of the cable with crimped tting.” or in “11.1.2
Adjusting the tension of the cable with doubling pulley.”
Machine with adjusting screw: If the adjusting screw must be lowered of more than 2 cm,
replace the cable.
Machine with adjusting pulley: If the cable remains loose, replace the cable.
12.1.1 ADJUSTING THE TENSION OF THE CABLE WITH
CRIMPED FITTING
This operation applies to MNBC- ABDOMINAL CRUNCH, MNCC- LOWER BACK, MNIC-
LEG CURL, MNJC- LEG EXTENSION, MNLC- LAT MACHINE, MNMC- LEG EXTENSION/
CURL, MNOC- ABDUCTOR/ADDUCTOR.
If the weight stack cable is not taut, the problem is due to lengthening of the cable. Therefore, to
