5.1 PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW WHEN REPLACING
COMPONENTS
After replacing a component, check equipment operation as described in paragraph “5.7
Equipment testing after the intervention of technical service”
5.2 THE CABLES ARE NOT TENSIONED CORRECTLY
Refer to the procedure described in paragraph “11.1 Adjusting the cable tension”
5.3 THE ECCENTRICS OF THE SEAT ARE NOT
POSITIONED CORRECTLY
Refer to the procedure described in paragraph “11.2 Adjusting the eccentrics.”
5.4 THE EQUIPMENT IS NOT FLAT
Refer to the procedure described in paragraph “11.3 Levelling the equipment”
5.5 THE LEVERS OF DUAL-AXIS MACHINES ARE NOT
ALIGNED
Refer to the procedure described in paragraph “11.4 The levers of dual-axis machines are not
aligned”
5.6 THE WEIGHT STACK DOES NOT SLIDE
SMOOTHLY
This problem is due to insucient lubrication of the bars or grime build-up from a mixture of dust
and oil. Clean and lubricate as illustrated below:
1. Use a paper towel to clean the weight stack bars of the machine, removing dust and grime.
2. Reassemble the cross and add a few drops of the oil to the cross bushings as indicated by
the arrow in the photo below.
